Lake Albert safari lodge is a gem perched in the midst of Albertine rift valley. In Kabwoya wildlife reserve in the western region of Uganda. Establishment of the lodge started in 2005 and later was opened to guests in 2006 following one year of construction. The lodge is stunningly designed and it is placed in a perfect location with the sight of Lake Albert and the Congo’s Blue Mountains awarding enchanting stay for guests.

Lake Albert safari lodge is fabricated and furnished with nature in mind manufacturing a feeling of comfort. And relaxation in the African bush. The lodge has 10 lush cottages with the sight of the nearby attracting physical features such as the Albertine rift valley.

The lodge is in right in the outskirts of Murchison falls national park. Along the way connecting Masindi – Hoima – Fort Portal districts. This makes Lake Albert Safari Lode a great stop over for relaxation and refreshment and a journey-break from Murchison falls national park to the primate capital, Kibale national park.

This stop offers abundant wildlife encounters including the stunning wild game of Kabwoya wildlife reserve and the Albertine rift plains. The wildlife to encounter here include Duiker, Oribi, Buffaloes, waterbuck, warthog, primates and many others, plus birds. These enhance wildlife experiences for travelers undertaking wildlife safaris in Uganda.

Activities

The lodge also arranges interesting activities. These include; game drive during day and night, nature walks, birding tours, sport hunting in Uganda, horseback riding.
