Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National park.
Drive to Kibale forest national park after breakfast and arrive just in time for lunch. Relax and thereafter go for a walk to view the crater lakes and Nyakasura’s “Amabere Ga’nyina mwiru”. Retreat from this encounter and get back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale and transfer to Semliki national park
After taking an early morning breakfast, drive to the park headquarters for pre-trek briefing, and later head out for chimpanzee trekking adventure. In the afternoon, transfer to Semuliki national park for bird watching and viewing Sempaya hot springs. Retire to Fort Portal for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and birding in semuliki national park.
After breakfast, transfer to the forests of Semuliki valley for lowland chimpanzee trekking and birding adventure. Then have lunch and return to the forests for a wildlife adventure.

Day 4: Drive to Queen Elizabeth national park.
After early morning breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth national park via Rwenzori Mountains commonly known as “Mountain of the Moon”. Experience a game drive on your way to the lodge. Then prepare for after noon boat cruise along Kazinga Channel for game viewing and a beautiful birding tour.

Day 5: Game drive in Queen Elizabeth Elizabeth national park. Nature walk within Maramagambo forest.
Have a game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park in the morning to catch up with the parks’ resident mammals and predators like lions, leopards and hyenas. Thereafter, advance to Kyambura Gorge for chimp tracking after taking breakfast. Have lunch at the lodge and get an opportunity to walk in the Maramagambo Forest and while here you can visit the bat cave where numerous bats are feasted on by huge pythons.

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park.
Have early morning breakfast and hit the road to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest via Ishasha Southern Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park in search of tree-climbing lions. Continue to Bwindi national Park and in the evening take a community walk to the Batwa Pygmies for their enriching performance.

Day 7: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi national park.
Early in the morning after breakfast, ensure you’ve packed lunch from the lodge and proceed to the park headquarters for the briefing. After the briefing, kick start on mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest. Listening to the mountain gorillas petulance among themselves, and the silver back – the leader of the gorilla family pounding his chest, sends a chill up one’s spine. You will only be allowed up to 1 hour with these gentle creatures. Retreat after the experience and transfer to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and an evening boat cruise.
Drive through pictorial enormous terrain commonly known as “Switzerland of Africa” – the Kigezi highlands. Then reach Lake Bunyonyi for a lunch break. After your meals, undertake an amazing boat cruise to explore the lake’s 29 islands; but the highlight is the “Punishment Island“. This is as well an excellent spot for birding experience. It is where the traditional Bakiga people would discard girls impregnated out of wedlock to die of hunger or risk swimming back to their homes and drown along the way.

Day 9: Travel back to Kampala.
After breakfast, travel back to Kampala, lunch will be served in Mbarara at Igongo cultural centre. Make a stop-over at the Equator for photography and advance to Kampala, finally arrive in the evening for departure or drop off at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
