Day 1: Transfer to the hotel upon arrival
On arrival at Arusha, Kilimanjaro Airport, the company representative will welcome you to Tanzania and will transfer you to the hotel, where you spend the night.
Dinner and overnight at Impala Hotel/Arumeru River Lodge.
Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti National park
You will transfer to Serengeti National park after breakfast. Your stop over will be made for lunch and after, the first panoramic views of Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro crater from the top. Along the road you will view the typical Masai Bomas villages and their cattle. Proceed through the grass plains and semi-arid areas after entering the gate of the national park. This is a unique experience of vastness and wilderness. The first game drive is en route to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Game drive in Serengeti national park.
Have breakfast and after proceed for a game drive. You can choose if you wish to come back for lunch and also rest at the lodge or if you wish to leave with packed lunch and spend more time in game drive. Among the resident mammals are; Giraffes, Buffaloes, Impalas, Thompson’s Gazelles, Bush bucks, Leopards, Lions, Hyenas and the endangered Black Rhinos. You will visit Retima Hippo pool to see high concentration of hippos.
You will also find many species of Acacia trees, like the fever tree and the Umbrella Thorn acacia. The number of animals is higher when the migration is back from the northern plains to the south, between December and May, which is normally a rainy period. There are many species like the wildebeests or the guns, zebras, elands, Thompson’s gazelles. It’s amazing to see the long columns of the animals move in one direction in search for water until the next dry season. Return to the lodge.
Dinner and overnight at Serena Serengeti or Sopa Serengeti.
Day 4: Another game drive in the direction north to Lobo
After breakfast, you will go for another game drive in the direction north to Lobo. This area is characterized by rocky hills, woodlands and the rivers including the upper Grumeti, which gives permanent water for migratory as well as resident animals. The place is known for the highest concentration of the lions, antelopes are also abundant in the Savannah where the red thorn acacia is the common scenery.

Day 5: Visit the Olduvai Gorge museum
From Serengeti to Ngorongoro, after your breakfast, you will also leave your lodge for the morning game drive. Immediately after lunch, you will exit the park through Naabi Hill gate in the direction of Ngorongoro and Olduvai Gorge. This is also found to the North West of the Ngorongoro crater. You can also visit the Olduvai Gorge museum and ask for the questions concerning the importance of the site for the history of the humanity. You will later proceed to the ridge of the Ngorongoro crater for dinner and overnight at your lodge

Day 6: Visit Ngorongoro crater
You will visit Ngorongoro crater. This is one of the wonders on Earth. After your breakfast, you will descend into the caldera of Ngorongoro crater for an unforgettable of wildlife. The permanent presence of water in the floor of the crater supports a large resident population of wildlife.
This will also include; wildebeests, zebras, Impalas, elephants, Buffalos and the dik dik. There are also large predators easily seen with families of lions, cheetah, spotted hyenas, leopards. The main water body inside the crater is Lake Magadi; which is an alkaline lake. Your lunch with picnic boxes can also be taken from the hippo pool point. Later in the evening, you go back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Finally dinner and overnight at Serena Ngorongoro/ camping site samba; and this will mark the end of your 6 days East Africa Safari.
