Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast, you will be met by our representative at your guesthouse/hotel lobby and transfer to Bwindi Forest. The forest provides a base for relaxing and exploring the pearl of Africa and tracking mountain gorillas in the nearby Bwindi Impenetrable national park

The Journey takes approximately 9 hours drive via Masaka Mbarara Highway. Have a stopover at Mbarara for an en-route lunch then proceed to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking

After an early morning breakfast with your packed lunch, you will be briefed by your ranger/tour guide and after start your gorilla trekking journey. You will enter into the amazing rain forest (gorilla sanctuary) as it offers an exciting, heavily forested and dense landscape interrupted by plenty of animal trails that provide access for tourists tracking these resident animals.  The charming mountain gorillas form the highlight of the park, you will continue to the misty Bwindi forest in search of the world’s most sought after and endangered species. Exploring the attractive forest landscapes characterized by rugged terrain which makes it quite challenging to explore.

The time and track taken while looking for these beautiful primates vary according to their movements, “Remember they are also wild animals”. The duration of the activity may vary between 2 – 8 hours inclusive of one (1) hour of direct contact with these unfamiliar creatures as they forage, socialize and make their joyous tactics with the frightening eyes of the Silverback.

Day 3: Transfer back to Entebbe

After breakfast you will transfer back to Entebbe, have a stopover at the Uganda Equator crossing Kayabwe for lunch and to encounter the world’s main latitude and purchase African handicrafts and souvenirs and a thrilling cool photo session. There is also an amazing local water experiment that proves the earth split-up into two halves, the north and south spheres.

Thus, making the end of the 3 days gorilla trekking Safari in Uganda, a safari that is to turn you into a storyteller.
