As I grew up, my passion for tours and travel kept increasing. Because I loved it, I took a tour guiding course in college and did my internship in one of the prominent national parks in Uganda; Queen Elizabeth National Park.
This internship gave me enough experience. After my internship, I worked as a tour guide for four years; until I won a sponsorship to go upgrade abroad and i pursued Theology and Business Administration / Management . When I returned to Uganda, I found a strong need in my community: many children were vulnerable especially those who had been orphaned by HIV/Aids. I felt deeply touched by their situation and decided to start up an orphanage under the names of Love Uganda Foundation.
I started with 10 children that I put under my complete care. With support from my brother, we increased the number to 30 after one year. Supporting these children became a challenge because; often we could depend on well wishers until when we discovered a potential in us to start a tour agency company. This has helped us provide for these orphans instead of entirely depending on foreign aid. Currently, Our tour agency directly donates 40% of its proceedings to the orphanage.
My experience and passion for tourism has put a great impact on my community. I consider all my clients with the whole of my heart to ensure that they are fully satisfied with our services. I feel extremely excited taking my clients in the jungle myself because I have a great experience in the field.
My personal interests include traveling, adventure and professional photography. I am a practicing preacher. I find great joy in helping others and am passionate about sharing God’s word and seeing people’s lives transformed.
Robert Paul Kyeyune, Managing Director
Robert Paul Kyeyune is my name, Managing Director to this beautiful Safari Company. I am indeed privileged to be working and serving alongside an amazing team of fellow young colleagues that are so passionate and zealous about serving others.
Love Uganda Safaris was founded by Emma MCMillan Kitumba to improve on the funds of Love Uganda Foundation. By doing this, we were reaching our vision of empowering the next generation.
So far, I am excited by what is happening through the Safari Company and more joyous about what is yet to happen.
I am a hard working man, social and cooperative, I love making friends and that is why I am working with this beautiful Safari company.
Joshua Kisaakye, Business Development Manager
For starters, Joshua Kisakye is my name, Managing Director at Love Uganda Safaris. I also serve as CEO at Jk Events and Promotions; and a Team Leader at Love Uganda Foundation.
I studied a medical course after completing my O-Level and A-Level at Kajjansi Progressive SSS. I currently live in Kyebando, Kampala, Uganda, single and aged 23 years.
I am not from a well-off family and this has made me to think a lot and come up with a well-planned strategy of starting up a Non-Profit Organization; my own company (COVCC International), currently in Virginia United States among other charitable organizations. I have also started JK events and Promotions with the aim of marketing various companies’ products and I believe that it will be one of the leading companies in Uganda few years to come.
Through handwork, I have managed to meet prominent people including the Prime Minster of Uganda, The Rt. Hon. Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda and I have also appeared in the office of the President of the Republic of Uganda, His Excellency Yoweri Museveni.
Therefore because this was recognized by management; during my first month of employment, I was offered management and leadership positions.
I have over 25 years of management which includes; Head Assistant Manager at one of the largest video game stores at the time in Oklahoma City at La Mons Family Fun Center in 1981 Managing a restaurant in a large company that served employees food in Northwest Oklahoma. Manager other cookie chain original Cookie Company in Glendale California managing their largest store.
I have over 20 years of catering experience, 35 years of experience in customer service etc.
I am a Artist, Soloist, Songwriter and entrepreneur. And now blessed to become a part of Love Uganda Safaris. I look forward to providing excellent customer service, when booking your first or next, Exciting Safaris Tour through your US liaison.
