The Foundation of Love Uganda Safaris
McMillan Emmanuel founded Love Uganda Safaris in 2014 as a source of funds to help support his orphanage that he started earlier in 2012. In order to fully cater for the children at Love Uganda Foundation, McMillan had to devise possible means with the little he could afford to get. This re-developed his passion in the tourism sector since he had worked as a travel guide for quite a number of years.
With his experience as a travel guide and the passion he had towards wildlife, he decided to start up a travel agency later he incorporated in his Brother Kyeyune Robert Paul. The agency name was derived from Love Uganda Foundation following all the challenges faced; McMillan has always struggled hard to ensure that the company offers excellent services to its clients.
Together we have managed to establish partnerships in various areas including USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, UK, France, Spain, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Botswana, Kenya, Polland Burundi, Tanzania and Rwanda. The company has organized various safari itineraries in East and Central Africa as well Southern Africa. It has connected with different professional tour operators and guides across all these regions to ensure that any trip handled gives the best satisfaction to the clients. Though, Love Uganda Safaris’ focus is gorilla trekking, wildlife adventures and bird watching tours, we have been running trips to Rwanda, Tanzania, Kenya Congo and south Sudan. So we take you where you want with a smile. As much as we are a safari & tours company we are also involved into humanitarian work as 45% of safari proceedings is channeled into helping of disadvantaged children at our love Uganda foundation.
Group safari tours
With a group safari, you get to experience a cheaper safari compared to a single traveler’s safari because here you get to share costs. This kind of safari is very fun seeing that you have people to relate with and share jokes for a great experience and millions of smiles. At Love Uganda safaris we offer customized, tailor made and volunteer safaris, to many of Uganda’s National Parks, and adventure destinations. Management & Staff
Love Uganda Safaris & Tours Limited is managed by a board of trustees that are committed to its progress, Love Uganda safaris employs 12 permanent workers in positions of general manager, Tour operations manager, accountants, reservations, administrators, tour guides, permanent drivers cleaner and clerk that are committed. The team consists of staff that can speak a wide range of languages such as French, Japanese, Germany, English and many others in addition to many local languages.
Love Uganda employees are skilled professionals, and very knowledgeable about the tourism industry, the road safety act, environmental conservation and the cultural richness of our great lakes region and Uganda. The years spent in this field by our employees gives us a cutting edge over other companies.

Since our drivers are also your guides, we refer to them as driver guides which is self-explanatory from the term we use. The Fleet
Our rental fleet is also based on the 4 x 4 super customs, min buses and the saloon cars, Toyota RAV 4 and the Toyota Land cruisers. These are among the popular vehicles in Uganda. Our fleet is economical, healthy and easy to drive. They have automatic transmissions and continuous four wheel drive, which also makes it ideal for the hilly terrain of Uganda. The vehicles are also ideal for rough roads and the family trips as well. All the cars used by Love Uganda Safaris are fully insured and serviced at the workshop for every trip. There is always a backup vehicle ready in Kampala, and also in case of injuries, you can easily rely on us 24 hours a day. Again the Land cruiser VX has a 4.2 Turbo diesel engine and is a much bigger car than the RAV 4, with the higher ground clearance, a large trunk for large space and the bigger tyres which are ideal for long and rough distances.
