Day1. Pick up and drive to Murchison Falls Park, via Nakasongola rolling hills 

Early morning at 8am, your guide will be waiting for you to embark on this long day trip to Murchison Fall national park, arguably the largest park in the country and the most beautiful as it overlooks the hanging escarpments of the great western rift valley and a home to the most powerful falls in the world;

You will traverse through the rolling hills of Nakasongola as you head to Masindi town for lunch stop. Proceed to Murchison falls park where you will be welcomed by baboons, warthogs and other primates playing freely amidst the road to this amazing park as you drive through  Budongo forest . Upon reaching the park, you will proceed to your place of residence for check in, dinner and relaxation and at night you might have a chance to view the nocturnal… Animals that graze at night including the warthogs that usually roam the place

Day2. Early morning Game Drive and Boat cruise & Hiking to top of the falls

You will wake up very early in the morning to go for a morning game drive where you will have a chance to spot early risers and nocturnal species before they return to their hideouts. This is the most beautiful national park in Uganda and this is because it hosts 4/5 of the big 5 animals and also it also home to one of the most beautiful and powerful falls in the world so far.

Traverse the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest National Park before returning later to the lodge for breakfast.  The 3,893 sq. km park is home to a range of animals, and you will have a chance of viewing some of the Park’s residents including lions, giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeests, antelopes, buffalo, and elephants.  For the birders, you will enjoy a cock tail of them as these areas support the secretary bird and the black chested snake eagle, to name a few.

In the afternoon, go for a boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls, where the Nile thunders through a small 7 meter gorge plunging 43 meters into the Nile on the way to Lake Albert. Lots of bird diversity can be spotted and numerous animals resting and drinking water along the banks of the Nile. The most common ones being hippos, buffaloes, Nile crocodiles and birds include, the African fish eagle, Yellow billed stork, Egyptian goose, Egrets, Malachite kingfisher among others. The launch cruise will take you close to the falls’ base where you will be shown the spot where Ernest Hemingway’s plane crashed during sightseeing tour to Murchison falls in 1954.

You can then get off the boat and go hiking up the side of the falls to the top.

After the cruise, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

This will be the last night of the trip and it will include a stunning camp fire and an amazing goat roasting experience before you retire for bed.

Day 3: Morning breakfast and transfer to Kampala                                           

After a hearty morning cup of warm of tea, you prepare to embark on the drive back to Kampala, a journey of 305 kilometers but full of interesting stuff that will keep you awake throughout the entire duration of the drive. You will have a lunch break in Masindi town (en route) as you proceed to Kampala and proceed to your lodge for relaxation and overnight.

Day 4: Travel to Jinja for a thrilling boat cruise and a visit to the source of the legendary Nile.

Jinja lies 100 km north-east of Entebbe. Your safari guide will meet and depart for a whole day excursion at Jinja. After Kampala the road turns into a scenic drive passing by coffee, Tea and Sugar plantations and the colorful roadside fruit/vegetable markets.

However, this day will be majorly dominated by a thrilling boat cruise to visit the source of the Nile, visiting numerous water falls at the legendary Nile including Bujagali falls, Owen falls dam, the main source of hydro-electric power in Uganda

After the historical visit to the source of the Nile and the cultural tour in Jinja town, retire for lunch at one of the resorts just overlooking the waters of the mighty Nile and transfer back to Kampala.

NOTE: White water rafting can be undertaken but on extra costs. Including other activities like bungee jumping, horse riding, among others.

Day 5: Kampala cultural trip and the Entebbe zoo

After an exclusive African breakfast at your lodge, you will undertake an all-round Kampala city tour exploring Uganda’s modern wonders, cultural as well as religious attractions;

After lunch you may proceed to Entebbe to visit the Uganda wildlife education center (the zoo) which is a summarized version of your wildlife trip in Uganda. It includes Uganda’s fauna and flora samples that you might have missed on your wilderness safari. The zoo almost represents all animals.

Proceed to the airport to catch up with your evening flight, marking the end of your trip in Uganda.
