5 Days Mikumi & Ruaha National Park Safari

The Mikumi & Ruaha National Park Safari will start with a transfer to Iringa town upon arrival; and have a stopover at the restaurant for lunch. You will also transfer to Ruaha National park which is also famous for its rare sable Antelopes, big herds of Elephants, Roan and it’s also the biggest park in Africa and it remains unspoiled. You will also have a game drive in the park and view over 500 bird species and many other animals. The safari also includes visiting Mikumi National park and also having a game drive were you will view many animals including the Elephants,  Giraffes, Zebras, Buffalos, Lions, Wild dogs and the Yellow Baboons as well as the Hippos.

You will then drive to Bagamoyo and have a tour there; you will also have a visit to Bagamoyo and visit the Kaole ruins, ruins of the shirazai trade town, the crocodile farm, where the crocodiles are kept before being shipped abroad, you will also visit the historical sites including the caravan serai, an old terminus of the caravans coming from the shore of the India Ocean, the catholic church and many more, German building such as old Boma and the customs House. Later, you will visit the Bagamoyo School of arts for Noma session and then your departure flight.

Have breakfast and after to Iringa town having a stopover at the restaurant for lunch and after. You will proceed driving to Iringo town for dinner and overnight at Iringa Hotel.

You will have breakfast and after you will transfer to Ruaha National park, which is the famous park for its rare sable antelope, big herds of elephants, roan. The park also represents a transition zone where the eastern and southern African flora and fauna. This park is the biggest park in Africa and it remains unspoiled. You will have lunch at the lodge followed by an afternoon game drive.

You will enjoy a full day game drive in the park; it has 500 bird species and many other animals which include; hippos, crocodiles, lions, leopards, hunting dogs, impala, giraffes, eland, grants gazelle, cheetah, ostrich and many more

You will have breakfast and after drive to Kitonga inn Lodge for your lunch and after, you will proceed to Mikumi National park.

Dinner and overnight at Vuma Hill Tented Lodge or similar.

Have breakfast. After, enjoy a game drive in Mikumi National park. This is known for its population of elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, lions, eland, wild dogs, roan, wildebeest and the backed jackal. You may also view crocodiles, monitor lizard, yellow baboons, and the hippos. Then return to the lodge for lunch and after drive back to Dar es salaam. You will be dropped off in the city or at the airport.
