5 Days Bujumbura-Burundi Exploration Tour
Arrival for this 5 Days Bujumbura-Burundi Exploration Tour will be at Bujumbura, then have a half day tour in Bujumbura; a cultural safari of the Bujumbura town. After, you will visit Rusizi National park; where you will have a boat cruise and view many hippos and birds as well as the joining point between Rusizi River and Lake Tanganyika. You will then visit the source of the Nile or the waterfalls; and also enjoy the magnificent tea plantations and the landscapes.
Make you carry your camera ready for the photos. Later on your safari, you will have Gitega Gishora tour which is one of the famous drum sites of Burundi. Again visit the city of Gitega which is the second largest town of the country, with much colonial architecture. It also hosts the national museum with its ethnographic and archaeological collections. You will also have a visit to Kigwena reserves Rumonge fishermen for a walk in the forest in order to search for flora and fauna including the monkeys, chimpanzees, owls and the baboons. Later we will transfer you to the airport to catch your flight.

Have breakfast and you will take the direction of the source of falls, and then Karera waterfalls. You will enjoy the magnificent tea plantations and the land scapes. All these make you carry your camera ready for the photos. Then later, visit waterfalls and after drive to Gitega. This is the second town and colonial capital of Burundi. You will also visit Gitega national Museum with its collection of art facts, Gitega city administrative offices, catholic location of Mushasha and its also different schools. Then dinner and overnight at Orange or Helena Hotel.
Have breakfast and visit the drum sanctuary of Gishora-Gishora. This is one of the famous drum sites of Burundi. The site also houses two ritual drums that were never beaten. The Ruciteme and Murimirwa. The two names are intimately linked to the farming vocation and also refer to fertility, characteristic of king. You will then visit the drum sanctuary of Gishora in order to relive the cultural tradition of Burundi. Have lunch at Gitega city and after, visit the city. Then Lunch and drive to Bujumbura for overnight at club du lac Hotel.
Have breakfast and after drive to Kigwena national park for a walk in the forest in order to search for its flora and fauna which also include; chimpanzees, monkeys which also include; owl faced monkeys and baboons. You will have lunch at Blue bay and beach relaxation. Then drive back to Bujumbura for dinner and overnight at Club du lac Tanganyika Hotel.
