Uganda, a Safe Safari Destination
Uganda has been faced by many wars, riots, strikes and much instability; however this has not affected the safari industry which has helped in increasing the amount of revenues within the country. Uganda is naturally endowed with natural and cultural attractions. These have always attracted many tourists to the country for a memorable experience. These attractions also range from the wildlife species, mountains, and water bodies as well as forests. Culture is also part of the common attractions which are found in the country.
The safari tourists should endeavor to continue visiting Uganda since it’s one of the safest countries in East Africa, of recent; Uganda has received several attacks in the Bundibugyo region in the western part of the country, this has also resulted in killings and posed fear not only to the domestic tourists but also to the international tourists since many of them cancelled their safaris to Uganda due to the attacks which have been taking place within the country.
The attacks have greatly been attributed to the tribal crisis between the Bakonjo and the Bamba. Both are found in the region. The minister of internal affairs has greatly worked on this. He has informed the world that this will not affect the safari industry . So, tourists should not cancel their safaris due to these simple threats; they should continue coming to Uganda in order to enjoy the many tourist attractions within the country.
Uganda has got many tourist attractions which have attracted many safaris to Uganda, some of the attractions also include; the mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, bird species, culture, city tours, wildlife species, mountains, water bodies and many more.
