Day 1: Transfer to Murchison National Park and do Rhino Tracking
Enter the territory of Ziwa rhino sanctuary on foot. Then you will get the opportunity to watch these endangered, magnificent creatures doing what rhinos do in their natural habitat. It is more often than not necessary to drive to the area that the rhinos are in before taking the bush walk. This drive is done in your own vehicle. The activity is a once in a life time opportunity and should not be missed!
After tracking, you have lunch in Masindi town and continue to Murchison falls national park; then pass by the top of the falls and continue to your lodge
Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Morning game drive; Here you may have a chance to see the Lions, Leopards, Giraffes, Jacksons Heartbeats, Oribis, Buffaloes, Elephants to mention but a few. Then later in the afternoon, we will take a cruise to the bottom of the falls; a magical trip through some beautiful scenery. The whole of the 50 meters wide Nile River is forced into a gap only 7 meters wide – the immense force of the water and the views of the falls are awe inspiring. Here we may be lucky to see Crocodiles, Hippos. We may also see animals as they come to the river to quench their thirst.The chances here we have are for Giraffes, Elephants, Cape buffaloes and sometimes Lions as they come to ambush prey.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After an early morning breakfast, drive to Kibale NP; reported to be home to the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in the world. Thirteen (13) different species have been identified here. Then have lunch in fort portal and continue to Kibale National Parkfor an overnight
Day 4: Chimp Tracking in Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, go for chimpanzee tracking in the forest with the highest concentration of primates in Uganda like Red Colobus, Black & White Colobus, Grey cheeked Monkey, Blue Monkey, Red tailed Monkey, olive baboons, and bush baby. This park has also got wild mammals like forest Elephants, forest Buffalos, Bush pigs, Hyenas, Duikers, Antelopes, and Leopards without forgetting 372 species of Birds like Blue headed Sun birds, Warblers, Bee- eaters, King fishers and many others. Then visit the Bigodi wetland sanctuary to interact with the community in the afternoon.
Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Afternoon Boat Cruise
After breakfast, you will proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a wildlife watch. With a lot of sightseeing en route, like crater twin lakes, the equator, a clear view of the western arm of the rift valley plus its associated features such as Lake George, and Edward, mountains of the moon and Kyambura escarpment. Then head to the lodge for check-in and lunch. Afternoon at 2pm, take a launch trip on Kazinga Channel that connects Lake Edward to Lake George. During this launch trip, you will see a pool of hippos, herds of elephants, and lots of wildlife including birds. Then back to your lodge for an overnight
Day 6: Morning Game Drive and Visit Katwe Salt Lake
After an early morning breakfast, our morning wildlife safari to Queen Elizabeth National park starts around 6:30am. We depart for a sunrise game drive on the northerly parts of the park along the Kasenyi track. It is at this time that the Big Cats are active on their daily hunts. We will drive around the crater Lakes in search of Leopards, Lions, Hyenas, Uganda Kobs and other wildlife. Later, return for lunch and relaxation at the lodge. Then later in the afternoon, drive to the salt lake region where you will take a hike to the craters as you enjoy the beautiful scenery.; and afterwards go for an evening game drive .
then finally overnight at the lodge in queen.
Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Tree Climbing Lions
After breakfast, depart to Ishasha sector. In the afternoon, take an enroute game drive in Ishasha Plains in search of tree climbing Lions lazily lying on the fig trees. You may also see Leopards, herds of Buffaloes, Elephants, antelopes and lots of Savannah birds. Then have lunch and proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National park; a home of the endangered mountain gorillas for an overnight.
Day 8: Gorilla Tracking at Bwindi and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, go for briefing at the park headquarters. Then proceed to the forest to track the magnificent mountain gorillas in their natural habitat with packed lunch. You will witness these animals as they interact, play, and care for one another. The tracking takes between 4-9 hours depending on where they slept that night. Then continue to lake Bunyonyi; which is the third deepest lake in the world and the first deepest in Africa with 29 islands. Finally overnight at the lodge.
Day 9: Transfer to Jinja
After your breakfast, you start your journey to Jinja through Kampala; having your lunch at Igongo cultural Center. Then a stopover at Namawojolo market for photos and refreshments. After, proceed to Jinja through Mabira rain forest and cross river Nile for an overnight.
Day 10: White Water Rafting, Visit the Source of the Nile and Departure
After the morning breakfast, you will prepare for the most exciting and incredible experience to do in Jinja at Bujagali falls. This lies 9 km from Jinja north. White water falls are about 10km downward the River Nile. This was named after an African spirit Bujagali which was said to have occasionally floated on a piece of bark cloth down the river. It is from this site where you will do your white water rafting. Then after the rafting, you will transfer back to the source of the Nile for lunch. After lunch, you will take a 90 minutes boat cruise on Nile River to the source of the Nile while crossing into Lake Victoria! Don’t forget to take memorable pictures for your friends.
Later in the evening your guide will drive you through Jinja town as you head back to Kampala or Entebbe.
